Annarine Burger is an accomplished wildlife artist based in the scenic town of Hoedspruit, South Africa. Renowned for her stunning photorealistic creations, Annarine’s exceptional skill with pastel pencils allows her to capture the intricate beauty and essence of African wildlife.

Initially, Annarine’s artistic journey took a different path. After completing her studies in Management, she discovered her passion for art and opened a successful nail art salon, which she operated for 18 years. Her skills went beyond traditional nail art, and she gained recognition for her intricate 3D sculptures of animals, flowers, and various designs, crafted using powder, liquid, and paint. This early emphasis on precision and detail laid the foundation for her transition to wildlife artistry.

Growing up in the captivating Lowveld region, Annarine was deeply inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of the Kruger National Park. These formative experiences instilled in her a profound appreciation for nature, which later fueled her desire to bring its wonders to life through her art.
